Founded in 1963, SETTER Germany is the only manufacturer of such paper sticks in Germany. 95 % of the products manufactured on a total area of 3,500 mē at the company's headquarters in Emmerich are exported - to customers in over 95 countries all over the world.
Robert Prager, owner and managing director of SETTER Germany since 1988, sold the company to GESCO AG (Wuppertal, Germany) in 2004 in order to ensure the future of the firm. However, he will continue to run the company until at least the end of 2010 as sole managing director.
